The National Plan Industry 4.0 aims to raise the technological level of the national manufacturing, by promoting the introduction, in companies and related production cycles, of innovative technologies based on the integration of machines, processes and products with the enabling technologies of the paradigm 4.0.
I 4.0 Pedrini Processes
Pedrini Spa has invested resources and know-how for the development of its processes by adopting the state-of-the-art of the available technologies and implementing a real "digital transformation".
Today, interconnected and integrated processes allow Pedrini to track the information flows and the movement of materials for the production management and planning and to prevent any possible critical issue. It is possible to know, in real time, in which phase the individual component that composes the machine or plant is located, to act promptly in case of delays in the supply chain, and to plan and schedule corrective actions to have a tense flow with the goal of combining the concepts of Industry 4.0 with those of Lean manufacturing.
Furthermore, a real operational smart factory created with 4.0 machines and plants is available at the Pedrini R&D Centre, which concretely replicates the concepts of machines interconnection and integration to the supervision system demonstrating the potential of applied technologies.
The adopted solutions offer our customers an increasingly high-level service and offer our operators increasingly advanced and efficient working methods.

I 4.0 Pedrini Machinery
The investments in research and development have led Pedrini machines and systems to perfectly respond to the required functional and operational characteristics of the Industry 4.0 evolution.
We have made “smart” machines and systems by equipping them with technologies, IoT platforms, intuitive and easy-to-use interfaces (HMI). Our machines can therefore be integrated with each other and interconnected with the customer supervision systems (MES). It’s possible to monitor the performances and to transfer a series of data from the machine to the central system to be used by the factory personnel. The human-machine interfacing is total and makes the system efficient and flexible.
